Area Manager

Description

A position for a highly motivated person to oversee regional property operations, including but not limited to leasing, budgeting, contract negotiation and staffing. Is responsible for the overall profitability, financial direction, coordination and evaluation of the communities under their supervision. Supervises, hires and trains several teams of managers, leasing consultants and maintenance personnel to ensure maximum occupancy, budget and profit standards and high renewal rate for the properties. Oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service. May also serve as a point of contact for the community. Should be familiar with a variety of the daily concepts, practices, and procedures as well as have several years experience as a property manager. Areas of knowledge include personnel management, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, revenue enhancement, capital improvements, information reporting and compliance with applicable laws. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks and lead and direct the work of others with an enthusiastic approach.
